Corporate Meetings and Incentives: South Florida Edition

One of our favorite domestic destinations for corporate group meetings and incentives is South Florida. There is truly something for everyone, and development in recent years has really breathed new life into the area. From Palm Beach to Delray to Miami, your entire team will have a remarkable experience.

South Florida – The Breakers lobby

Palm Beach

If laid back luxury is your goal, then Palm Beach is the place to be. The ultra-chic, iconic island is host to a variety of boutique hotels and large five-star resorts, like The Colony Hotel and The Breakers. These locations offer groups beautiful accommodations, breathtaking views, and ample meeting spaces all in one place. West Palm Beach is also just over the bridge with their famed Convention Center featuring abundant meeting and event spaces. After the 9-5, you cannot beat the gorgeous beaches and outdoor activity opportunities for groups of all sizes. November through April has ideal weather, and it is the perfect time to coordinate your corporate meeting or incentive trip with a bit of sunshine and warmth!

South Florida – Pineapple Grove, Delray

Delray

Delray, “the village by the sea”, is a spot that boasts a more vibrant, youthful energy. There you will find boutique-style hotels, incredible restaurants and bars, and a beautiful beach nearby. It is also extremely walkable, which is a great opportunity for your guests to explore and wind down in the evenings. Atlantic Avenue, located in Delray’s main downtown area, is nicknamed “America’s longest Main Street” and always has something going on! A bit more affordable than Palm Beach, Delray may be a great option for you and your team if you are looking for an energetic and fresh location for your event.

South Florida – Miami Design

Miami

Perhaps one of the most all-encompassing locations in South Florida is Miami. Many people have an idea of what Miami is like, but in recent years many fun and different neighborhoods have emerged. There is the Design District, a creative neighborhood bursting with sleek architecture, upscale galleries, and luxury shopping.

Just south of downtown sits Coconut Grove, Miami’s oldest neighborhood. This neighborhood draws inspiration from its original Bahamian inhabitants as well as the many artists who have traveled and stayed in the area. Today, it is full of lush greenery along the roads, charming sidewalk cafes, family-owned boutiques, and sights of the glittering Biscayne Bay.

Downtown Miami, or Miami City Centre, is most likely what you think of when you hear Miami. It is a bustling city with a brimming nightlife, art galleries, incredible beaches, and world-class hotels. There is certainly something for everyone, and with the best array of large and small hotels we can be sure to find something for every budget.

Travel

Another consideration, aside from accommodations and meeting spaces, is travel. Thankfully, there are three international airports, (Palm Beach International, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International, and Miami International), making it easy to fly directly to your final destination. Additionally, the new Brightline high-speed passenger train makes travel throughout South Florida a breeze! The Brightline experience is enjoyable – clean, fast, comfortable, and serves delicious food and drink. The best part is it connects all three of these cities so if your guests want to travel before or after the event to another city they can do so easily.

As you can see, South Florida has many spectacular destinations for your next corporate meeting or incentive trip. Stunning coastlines, communities full of culture, and enjoyment opportunities for all interests make it a perfect destination for your team to connect and relax.
